– Manufactured with advanced Mosfet technology having high frequency and insulation transformer.
– Charging process fully controlled by microprocessor.
– Visualization on a lit display of the charging current, of the battery voltage,   of the charging time, of the charge supplied in Ah and of the energy absorbed in KWh.
– Possibility to change the charging curve, the battery voltage and the  charging current, by means of a dip-switch (for the models CBSW1-S and CBSW2-S), choosing from 16 standard pre-programmed curves for lead-acid, Gel and VRLA batteries. Any other curve available on request.
Unlimited number of charging curves, voltages an charging currents for the model CBSW4-S by means of a cellular-phone-like smart card.
– Charging process starting in the “soft start” mode and automatic reset upon
connection of a new battery.
– Protection with an output relay against polarity inversions, short circuits, overvoltages or anomalies.
– Alphanumeric signals of possible anomalies.
– Insensitive charge parameters in case of ±10% AC input line voltage variations.
– Efficiency > 85%.
– Output ripple at maximum charge lower than 150mV.
– Compensation of the voltage drop on the connecting cables to the battery.
– Start of the charge cycle also with 1V batteries.
– Thermal protection against over heating.
– The information relevant to the last charging cycles (the duration of the charging cycle, the Ah’s delivered by the battery, the voltage at the end of the charge and the possible error messages) can be downloaded in an excel file through a cable and a specific software available as an optional.
